SEC activities on The Universal Children’s Day/Day of Pray and Action for Children – Street action, kids drama performance, youth band, workshops…

This year with the series of activities we are celebrating the 20th of November, The Universal Children’s Day / Day of Pray and Action for Children.  We are inviting You to contribute with your presence to the affirmation of children’s rights and the improvement of the position of children in our local community and wider.

10h – 12h Saint George square in Sombor

Street volunteer action called „Inclusion, positive parenting, and protecting children against violence“ in cooperation with the informal group of young artists from Sombor the „ARS VIVENDI“

-          Interactive art performance for children and adults

-          The SEC will be promoting its free programs for children

-          Promotion of the brochure created by the SEC on the topic of inclusion

-          Collecting of school equipment for children from vulnerable groups

19.00 – 20.30  Great hall of the Sombor City Hall

-          Segment of the theatre play prepared by the SEC children’s drama class on the topic of children’s rights and positive parenting called „From the children’s angle“

-          The performance of pop, rock, jazz band of children and youth from 11 to 17 years of age

Which goes by the name „LONGPLAY“

 

Activities planned for the remainder of the year:

-          November the 27th, 18.30h Sombor Educational Center

First in the series of 5 art workshops will take place. Created in cooperation with the informal group of young artists from Sombor called the „ARS VIVENDI“ and prepared for the children between 7 and 12 years of age on the topic of children’s rights

-          November the 30th, 16.00h – 20.00h Sombor Educational Center

Workshop for adults on the topic of children’s rights, positive parenting, and the protection of children against violence

All the activities are free and are organised in cooperation with the initiatives – Pray and Action for Children and the Global Network of Religions for Children with the support of Arigatou International
